Since 1997, Alphabet Jigsaws has been creating original handcrafted wooden jigsaw puzzles for kids of all ages. We have an extensive range of wooden jigsaw puzzles that includes some wonderful Alphabet Jigsaws, Number Jigsaws and Map Jigsaws as well as our newest range of Wooden Animal Magnets.

All of our jigsaw puzzles are cut from sustainably sourced wood and painted by hand in dazzling colours, using non-toxic acrylic paints, like small works of art! Our wooden jigsaw puzzles are designed to encourage dexterity and logic and although educational, the emphasis has always been on making the puzzles fun.

Designed in the West of Ireland, our wooden jigsaw puzzles are produced in a rural part of Sri Lanka amidst rice paddies and tea plantations. We have been working with the same family for nearly twenty years and have forged an incredibly close relationship with them, based on trust and the mutual desire to produce a unique and exciting range of beautiful, unique jigsaw puzzles. The factory was inspected and certified under the Ethical Trade Initiative in 2007 and the jigsaws puzzles are manufactured, by hand, in a fair and regulated environment.

We sell our wooden jigsaw puzzles throughout Ireland and the UK (and beyond!) to a wide clientele and an appreciative audience of little people. We sell to a variety of gift shops and galleries, while also supplying schools, creches and libraries, amongst others. We occasionally attend exhibitions where we sell directly to the public (see our events calendar for details).

Our range of wooden jigsaw puzzles has evolved over the years but our concept remains the same; to create wooden jigsaw puzzles that are both educational, tactile and attractive. Puzzles that will captivate and educate small children and allow them to have fun while learning.
